(Alternate years 2009-2010) An overview and exposure to various theological and biblical issues confronting the missionary enterprise of the church today. The focus of the course, however, will deal with the practical issues confronting the missionary as global citizen, church representative, and evangel of Christ. Topics such as social action versus evangelism, development, contextualization, globalization, and missionary recruitment, retention, and care will be addressed. Prerequisite: Junior class standing.
