This course guides students in understanding the need for and developing the skills of management of various classroom, building, community and parental issues and activities. Areas covered include classroom management, communication skills with community and parents, public policy and school law, classroom diversity issues, and community influences and resources. A concurrent school field practicum of 30 hours is required. Prerequisites: ED 250, ED 281, 282 or 283, and admission to the Teacher Education program.
