Subjects will include pipe tools and their uses, pipe and pipe material, valves, and pipe fabrication techniques. PREREQUISITES: The class is open to the general public, but special consideration will be given to those students who are employed by Northrop Grumman and indentured in the Apprenticeship Program. COURSE OBJECTIVES: Upon satisfactory completion of this course the student will know the basic fundamentals of the pipe trade. Subjects will include pipe tools and their uses, pipe and pipe material, valves, and pipe fabrication techniques.
