Key principles and concepts for personnel selection and placement procedures and workforce planning strategies will be reviewed and applied to college settings in concert with employment regulations and the related legal system which provides a context within which any college must function. The presence of a union in a college setting and its role regarding systemwide organizational change and compliance are discussed.
