Credits: 4 Prerequisite: none This course is the entry level language class. Beginning level vocabulary groupings (examples: pastimes, family, time, clothing, foods) will be used for elementary conversations. Grammar will include present tense of regular verbs, stemchangers, present progressive, irregulars, reflexives and some idiomatic constructs. Regular preterite tense introduced, if possible. Graded level readings are used for comprehension and speaking development as well as short writing assignments for practicing vocabulary and grammar constructs. Transfer Curriculum Goal(s): none
