Credits: 5 Prerequisite: PHYS 1411; MATH 1478 or concurrent enrollment This course is a continuation of Engineering Physics. The theory part contains parts of the following topics: thermodynamics, electrostatics, DC and AC circuit theory, magnetism, Maxwell's laws, geometric and physical optics. The practical topics will include the use of lab equipment to help develop these concepts. A knowledge of multivariable calculus and trig is needed for success in this course.
