Credits: 3 Prerequisite: PNUR 1161, PNUR 1265 This course describes signs of pregnancy, prenatal care, labor and delivery, and postpartum care. Complications of pregnancy, labor and delivery and postpartum, as well as fundamental nursing care of the neonate will be presented. The pediatric portion of the course describes the child's experience of hospitalization and health care adaptations for child and family.
