Credits: 3 Prerequisite: none The purpose of this course is to introduce the student to American Indian Art through a survey of the historical art from the landmass north of Mexico. Indian art by culture areas include the Plains, the Southwest, California, the Great Basin, Pacific Plateau, the Pacific Northwest Coast, Arctic Coast, and the Woodlands.
