Credits: 3 Prerequisite: DENT 1106 This course is designed to provide the student with a knowledge of pathology, the body's defense, healing mechanisms, and diseases of the oral cavity. This course will provide the student with a basic knowledge of drugs and their effects. It provides knowledge of emergencies and the prevention and treatment of these emergencies within a dental office environment.
