Credits: 3 Prerequisite: none The purpose of this course is to provide an opportunity for students to learn and adopt methods to promote their success in college. The goal is to empower students to take charge of their thinking and learning process in order to successfully achieve their educational and life goals. Topics critical to student success will include: study techniques, time management, reading techniques, note taking strategies, test taking skills, memory techniques, critical thinking, communicating & diversity, college & community resources, and career planning.
