Credits: 3 Prerequisite: none The basic principles of black-and-white photography will be covered. This introductory course will cover parts of the camera, various lenses and composition. Students will be exposed to the characteristics of film and photographic paper through darkroom experience. Course work will include shooting black-and-white film, developing the negatives and making prints. This is a foundation course and serves as a prerequisite for ARTS 2401.
