Credits: 3 Prerequisite: none This is an introductory course concerned with translation of three-dimensional form into two-dimensional visual expression. The student experiences a variety of drawing media. Creative decision-making is emphasized in the completion of compositions in still-life, landscape, figure and portrait subject matter.Skills in aesthetic judgments and constructive self-criticism will be developed through group and individual critiques. An introduction to historical, national and regional artists of various backgrounds is included.
