Prerequisite: Accuplacer score of 65 or higher on arithmetic exam or 52 or higher on Elementary Algebra exam, or grade of C or higher in MATH 0594 This is a first course in algebra. Topics taught in this course include operations with real numbers, linear equations, linear inequalities, equations of lines, linear graphing, systems of equations, exponents, polynomials, factoring, quadratic equations, radicals, and problem solving.
