Credits: 3 Prerequisite: none This course covers landscaping for wildlife, and shoreline protection from a habitat perspective. Students will identify species of wildlife they wish to attract, and preferred plant species for habitat enhancement. Students will learn to map existing habitats and design landscapes to attract a variety of wildlife species. Students will also learn the best management practices for waterfront and shoreline protection. Plant selection and care, and aquatic vegetation management will also be covered.
