This course addresses problems in painting, emphasizing the articulation of personal pictorial statements. Different media and techniques are tested against traditional and non-traditional approaches, both formal and conceptual. Topics vary each semester. May be repeated for credit. Prerequisites: ART 281 plus one additional art course or permission of instructor.
