Designed to strengthen and expand students technical facility through hand-on exploration of non-linear digital editing using Final Cut Pro software on the Macintosh. This course also helps foster the development of a personal vision within a historical and critical framework of emerging digital technology. Workshops may be devoted to specific genres and/or specific technical or conceptual concerns. May be repeated for credit. Prerequisites: ART 295 plus one additional art course or permission of instructor.
