An advanced "activity-based learning" course. Spanish will be taught not just in a regular class environment, but also in direct contact with local organizations and individuals whose mother tongue is Spanish. The course also aims at serving the Latino community in many possible ways: e. g., voluntary work; translations; integration of the Latino community into the academic life of Tufts; dissemination of the local Latino cultural expressions; etc. Prerequisites Spanish 121 or 122 or equivalent.
