Laboratory work includes index, consolidation, and triaxial tests. Field tests discussed include SPT, cone, vane, pressuremeter, and dilatometer. Discussion of methods used to process laboratory and field data. Report writing and hands-on laboratory testing. Prerequisites Civil and Environmental Engineering 42.
