Theory and practice of supervision of students and other personnel in educational and human-service settings. Lectures, discussions, case studies, and videotapes as a means of strengthening the following competencies: analyzing the teaching process, developing educational materials, evaluation, communication skills. Students enrolled in this course will supervise students in a placement, including courses such as Fieldwork, Community Field Placements, and Student Teaching. Students taking this course must have evidence of direct applied experience with children. Offered in alternate years. Prerequisites Permission of Instructor.
