Open-ended labratory projects in an area of applied and industrial interest of chemical and biological engineering. Students work in groups and choose one project for the whole term. They are asked to not only analyze the results of a given experiment but also decide what are the important experiments to perform as part of their overall plan to bring their project to a successful conclusion Oral presentations and written reports are an integral part of this laboratory course.
