At least seventeen hours per week of laboratory or field investigation, which must include independent design of experiments. Students write a summary of research accomplished and give an oral presentation to members of the department. Prerequisites Junior standing, Biology 93 or 94 or equivalent, and prior permission of the course coordinator.
