The criteria and purpose of the selection and the evaluation of the standards of selection, techniques of use in the classroom, techniques of story telling, and a survey of modern bibliography of children's literature for different age and grade levels are taken up. Prerequisite: Admission to the Teacher Education program or permission of the instructor.
