3 semester hours Designed to develop basic skills in arithmetic necessary for entrance into the mathematics courses required for the college's degree programs. Includes work with whole numbers, fractions, decimals, percents, and an introduction to algebra and geometry. Students must receive a grade of C or better to pass this course. Semester hours are in addition to the 124 semester hours required for graduation.
