1 semester hour This course serves as a transition course for LPNs and transfer students entering the program. Emphasis is on role development and concepts related to change and transition from practical nurse to registered nurse. It introduces the nursing process as a framework for the delivery of nursing care. The course will be taught through lecture, audiovisual presentations, discussions and programmed instruction. Prerequisite: Admission to the nursing program. Fulfills: Nursing major requirement.
