3 semester hours The study of traditional weaving techniques including preparing and dressing a warp and weaving on the loom. Students design and plan a project, discuss and analyze fiber selection and finishing techniques, learn the basic techniques of analyzing woven fabric and drafting weaving patterns and become familiar with contemporary concepts of textile work and contemporary craft.
