2 semester hours The course will combine the Fitness for Life course and three physical activity courses. We will engage in fitness testing, we will also discuss and develop physical conditioning programs; aerobic, resistance and flexibility training. A nutritional analysis will be completed and other health benefits of physical activity will be studied. We will also tour local fitness centers. Attendance and participation is very important. The class will be taught with lecture, fitness testing and physical activities. Fulfills: General Education Physical Education Activities courses (PHED-101 & 104 - count as 3).
