3 semester hours This course will examine the art and business of stage management. The student will study the preproduction, auditions, rehearsals, production and post-production roles of the stage management team. The student will learn how to properly keep a record of a production. The course will also delve into general management skills as they pertain to theatrical production. The role of theatrical labor unions will also be explored. Co-requisite: THRE 224.
