ENGR 293 - Industrial Work Experience

This course will enable students to gain experience in manufacturing, construction, or graphic communication in a supervised and approved industrial environment. Written weekly reports, along with a final report, are required. Students will be under the general supervision of both the university instructor and the industrial supervisor. Evaluation of each student's work will result from combined observations of all supervisors. This work experience will provide students an opportunity to apply basic industrial skills to the industrial work involved and enable them to better begin to understand the principles to be mastered for more advanced work. Completion of three 40-hour work weeks required for each semester hour of credit . Prerequisites: industrial technology major and permission of instructor.
