(3) An introduction to basic audio/video production techniques. Students learn skills necessary to perform studio- and remote-camera operation, basic lighting, audio recording, and basic video and audio editing. Introduction to Broadcast Research and Writing. (3) Course focuses on finding, researching, and presenting material for a variety of media, purposes, and audiences. Includes study of interviewing, writing, and copy editing skills and library use.
