Topics vary but may include intensive study of directors such as Alfred Hitchcock and Federico Fellini, or artistic movements such as Italian Neorealism, French NewWave, Contemporary Spanish Cinema, or Russian Formalism. Not open to students with credit in Eng 496. Prerequisites: Eng/BC 290, Eng/BC 390, and 6 s.h. in approved film minor electives, or permission of instructor.
