Playwrights studied may include Henrik Ibsen, Bernard Shaw, Bertolt Brecht, Jean Genet, Wole Soyinka, Amiri Baraka, Caryl Churchill, Athol Fugard, August Wilson and David Henry Hwang. Satisfies a portion of the Understanding the Human Community requirement of the University Core Curriculum.
