09W, 09S, 10W, 10S: D.L.S.A. A course in French civilization taught in the context of the Language Study Abroad pro gram. Lectures by local faculty concentrate on French political, social, economic, and religious institutions, and their historical development. Independent or accompanied visits to sites are an integral part of the course. Assigned work may include short readings, oral presentations and papers, and a final examination.
