Fall/Spring.? This course prepares the student for the treatment of a recall patient.? The student learns basic skills for periodontal assessment and instrumentation for the treatment of gingivitis.? Pre-clinical simulation and clinical exercises prepare the student for the use of a dental mirror, probe, scalers, and the skills required to perform prophylaxis.
