Explores the contributions and roles of women as composers, performers, teachers, conductors and patrons in Western Art music, non-Western art music and popular music. A wide spectrum of musical compositions by women in various styles will be studied, through recordings and live performances. Satisfies the General Education Artistic and Creative Expression, and Cultural Diversity and International Perspectives Requirements. Prerequisites & Notes WST 101 or permission.
