An intermediate level course focusing on application of the processes and aesthetics of hand building and/or throwing ceramic objects. Students will participate in every aspect of creation of a ceramic object, from the initial idea, through design, to construction, surface decoration and firing. Students will learn the fundamentals of clay, slip and glaze formulation and testing. Satisfies the General Education Artistic and Creative Expression Requirement.
