Topics include LAN components and protocols, topologies and network architecture, network system hardware consideration, LAN design and network layout, wiring and installation, network operating systems, network servers, connection and services for clients, network system administration and management. Other topics may include LAN?applications, performance tuning, disaster recovery, hybrid networking environment and integration, network monitoring tools, and network management tools. Laboratory experiences include Microsoft Windows NT?and UNIX.
