A study of the many psychological aspects pertaining to coaching competitive athletics, including motivation, player-coach relationships, team selection, team morale, and strategy. Emphasis on underlying sociological determinants of environment as contributing factors in competition. Preparation for Course P: junior or senior class standing. Cr. 3. Notes Letter grades are given in all HPER classes. Some classes are offered in eight-week sessions; check the Schedule of Classes for scheduling information. Activity classes cannot be repeated for credit.
