An introduction to the principles of injury prevention. Lecture and demonstration of emergency measures to treat, for example, fractures, sprains, dislocations, and spinal injuries. Skill training in bandaging, strapping, splinting techniques. Cr. 2. Hours Class 1, Practice 2, Notes Letter grades are given in all HPER classes. Some classes are offered in eight-week sessions; check the Schedule of Classes for scheduling information. Activity classes cannot be repeated for credit.
