Expands on the information architecture curriculum begun in MMS U400. Concentrates on cognitive and interactive issues. Exposes students to the theories, principles, and process of planning and designing highly usable, experientially transparent user interface (UI). Offers students the opportunity to learn concepts of user-computer interaction, legibility and visual organization, and interaction topologies, as well as how to apply these ideas in the development of a workable UI. May be taken more than once since topic areas differ every time the class is offered.
