(269) Either semester. Three credits. What is feminism? Who are the feminists and what do they want? How effective has the Women's Movement been in accomplishing its goals? What are the most controversial questions it has raised? Is the Women's Movement dead or dying? We will research and discuss questions like these both through examination of the writings and activities of the contemporary Women's Movement in the United States and through historical and international comparisons.
