Chapron The student will apply knowledge of pharmacotherapy of acute and chronic gastroenterologic disorders to the provision of pharmaceutical care to patients requiring such therapy. Emphasis is on the optimization of medication-related outcome in gastroenterologic patients through past and current medication assessment, multidisciplinary treatment planning, efficacy and safety monitoring, and patient education.
