Aeschlimann The student will apply knowledge of pharmacotherapy of infectious disease to the provision of pharmaceutical care to infectious disease inpatients. Emphasis is on optimization of medication-related outcomes in patients with serious infectious diseases through past and current medication assessment, multidisciplinary treatment planning, efficacy and safety monitoring, and patient education.
