The student will expand, in depth and in breadth, the application of pharmacotherapy principles to the provision of pharmaceutical care to general medicine outpatients. Emphasis is on continued development of the process of rational drug selection that encompassed the use of medications in an effective, appropriate, safe, and cost effective manner.
