(206) First semester. Two 1-1/2-hour lectures and one two-hour laboratory period. Prerequisite: CHEM 1125Q or 1128Q; and two of the following four courses: BIOL 1103, BIOL 1107, BIOL 1108, PNB 2264; one of which may be taken concurrently. Open to students in the following majors: Cytotechnology, Medical Technology, and Diagnostic Genetic Science; others with consent of instructor. Not open for credit for students who have passed PNB 2265. A systemic approach to the study of anatomy and physiology specific to the Medical Laboratory Sciences. The structure and function of each organ system will be discussed.
