(219) Second semester. Four credits. Three lecture periods and one laboratory period. Not open to students who have passed NRME 3252 or 3535. Civco, Meyer Principles and applications of geographic information systems (GIS), global positioning system (GPS), and remote sensing will be covered. Students will be provided with the scientific knowledge and technical skills needed to collect and use spatial data effectively in a Geographic Information System (GIS).
