(270) Both semesters. Two credits. Prerequisite: To enroll in the course the student must earn a "C" orbetter in MLS 3121 or 3121W. Open only to Medical Technology majors; others with consent of Medical Technology Program Director. Human blood groups, HLA antigens, compatibility testing, donor selection, and their relationship to transfusion and transplantation. Evaluation of laboratory results for selection of blood components for therapy.
