(292) Both semesters. Three credits. Prerequisite or corequisite: ACCT 2101; FNCE 3101;OPIM 3103 and 3104; MGMT 3101; MKTG 3101; and either BLAW 3671 or 3175. Open only to Business students with senior class standing. Not open for credit to students who have passed or are taking MGMT 4900. Technology is having a profound affect on the rules by which firms plan, organize, and compete. By simulating applications of strategic frameworks in cases, readings, and classroom discussion, this course introduces students to methods that will improve their ability to judge the viability of firm's strategy, and recommend improvements. As such, it builds a valuable knowledge base that is relevant for managing, venturing, going-concern judgments, and investing.
