(222) Either semester. One credit. Prerequisite: Language skills equivalent to two to four semesters of college course work in a single foreign language (may be completed concurrently). May be repeated for credit, with a change in content. Sponsored by the Modern and Classical Languages Department in collaboration with the department offering the companion course. Supplements a three-credit course in a particular discipline by studying selected foreign language texts related to the topic of its companion course. Practice in oral and written expression.
