(182) Either semester. One credit. One class period. Open to freshman and sophomore students only. With a change in content, this course may be repeated for credit. A component of the First Year Experience (FYE) program, this seminar course is intended to provide an opportunity for students to investigate topics of professional interest to the faculty instructor through guided research or reading, discussion, and some writing. The course will help students learn independently and engage actively in the academic life of the university.
