(245C) Second semester. Four credits. Three class periods and one 2-hour Laboratory. Prerequisite: Open to juniors or higher. Recommended preparation: GEOG 3500Q or equivalent. Introduction to numerical cartography and a review of standard computer-assisted mapping programs. Emphasis is given to data compilation for machine presentation of cartographic information. Exercises will introduce students to a variety of input and output display media.
